Senator Seyarto Named the 2026 State Elected Official of the Year by the Riverside Sheriffs' Association

I wanted to share that I was recently honored to be named the 2026 State Elected Official of the Year by the Riverside Sheriffs' Association for "exceptional commitment, outstanding leadership, and service to the law enforcement mission and the citizens of Riverside County."

This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes from the dedicated men and women who work every day to protect our communities. They put themselves in harm's way to keep our neighborhoods safe, often making tremendous sacrifices on behalf of others. They deserve leaders who will stand with them, support them, and ensure they have the resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.

As a retired firefighter and Vice Chair of the Senate Public Safety Committee, I have remained committed to advancing commonsense public safety policies that support law enforcement, prioritize accountability, support victims, and protect California families.

I have always believed that public safety is not a partisan issue. Every Californian deserves to feel safe in their home and community, and I will continue working to support policies that protect both the public and those who serve.

I am deeply grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to continue serving our 32nd Senate District.

Thank you.
